Google Assistant adds Male Voice Option. See how to enable it

It just came to my notice that google has added a male voice option to Google Assistant. Google assistant is a virtual personal assistant on smartphones that enable users to quickly perform tasks on their phone just by speaking to the phone. The female voice has been what i have been used to but Google has just rolled out the male voice option. I’m not who this is going to be useful to but i think some people are gonna find it interesting. Here is how to enable the male voice option if you want to use it.

According to  Google Assistant, the female voice option is (Voice 1) while the Male voice option is (Voice 2). To select the one you want, follow the instructions below.

  1. Open the Google Assistant app by long pressing the home button.
  2. Tap on the three-dot menu button and open Settings
  3. Open Preferences and then Assistant Voice.
  4. Switch from Voice I (female) to Voice II (male).

Note that you need to be updated to the latest version of Google Assistant to use this option.
